Executive Assistant
Labcorp is seeking a hybrid Executive Assistant to join our team at 531 S Spring Street, Burlington, North Carolina.
Responsibilities
The Executive Assistant provides high-level administrative support to the SVP, Chief Compliance, Privacy & Sustainability Officer and senior leadership within the Corporate Compliance Department, ensuring seamless coordination of schedules, communications, and operational tasks
Manage complex and frequently changing calendars, including scheduling meetings, appointments, and conference calls for senior executives.
Coordinate domestic and international travel arrangements, prepare detailed itineraries, and support logistics for meetings and events.
Serve as the primary point of contact for incoming calls, emails, and correspondence, exercising sound judgment in triaging and prioritizing requests.
Maintain and organize confidential files, records, and documentation in accordance with company policies.
Distribute mail and ensure timely handling of all incoming and outgoing communications.
Plan, coordinate, and execute internal and external events, including team meetings, executive briefings, and special projects.
Prepare meeting agendas, compile materials, and support follow-up actions as needed.
Liaise with internal departments and external stakeholders to facilitate effective communication and collaboration
Minimum Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of administrative experience in a corporate or executive environment
High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree
Prior experience supporting senior management SVP and/or C-Suite level Executives
Additional Job Standards:
Ability to work a schedule of three in-office days at 531 S Spring Street, Burlington, North Carolina and two remote workdays per week
Demonstrated ability to work independently, take initiative, and operate with minimal supervision, while exercising good judgment on when and how to escalate issues.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines with accuracy and professionalism.
Superior written and verbal communication skills; able to draft correspondence and reports for executive audiences.
Proven track record of maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information with discretion.
Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative, team-oriented approach.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive in anticipating needs.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams) and Adobe Acrobat.
