Summary
Responsible for helping various areas of finance with special projects or general duties assigned by direct manager. Required to adopt a customer focused approach in fulfilling all tasks related to the various financial functions. Effectively applies their knowledge and experience of policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements in their respective field of specialization.

 

Duties and Responsibilities
•    Perform various finance duties assigned by your direct manager in a timely and effective manner
•    Meets and exceeds metrics established and periodically revised by management.
•    Handles reporting of various activities to Management as appropriate to meet team objectives.
•    Provides customer service to both suppliers and internal stakeholders.
•    Maintain customer confidence and protect operations by keeping financial information confidential
•    Comply with company and department process to escalate or resolve questions
•    Prepare and maintain department files with attention to detail and confidentiality
•    Provides backup to the assigned department
•    Assist in documenting, and maintaining finance policies, procedures, and controls in accordance with DSV accounting principles, policies, and best practice

 

Educational background / Work experience
•    Required High School Diploma or equivalent
