Hospice After Hours Registered Nurse
Full-Time | Hospice

What You’ll Do

  • Provide urgent, compassionate nursing care after hours in alignment with Elara Caring’s mission

  • Assess patient and family needs—physical, emotional, psychosocial, and spiritual

  • Communicate significant changes or concerns to the Clinical Supervisor, physician, or facility staff

  • Educate patients, families, and facility staff on hospice philosophy, pain control, and symptom management

  • Offer support during end-of-life transitions and perform bereavement assessments

  • Collaborate with the Interdisciplinary Team to ensure the best possible quality of life for each patient

What You Bring

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Diploma, Associate, or Bachelor’s)

  • Current RN license in the state of practice

  • At least 1 year of clinical nursing experience (hospice or home health preferred)

  • Willingness to travel up to 50%

  • Physical ability to lift 50–100 lbs.

  • Valid driver’s license, insurance, and reliable transportation
