About the role

The Team:

The Education and Training Unit (ETU) works collaboratively with Acute and District sites across Hospitals North. The ETU is passionate about building capacity, capability and resilience in our staff to enable our community to receive excellent health care. The unit works in close collaboration with the Pathway to Excellence and Magnet program seeking to improve patient outcomes. 

The Role:

  • Provide general clerical administrative and reception support services to the Education and Training Unit including the Nursing Director, Nurse Manager, Transition to Practice and Clinical Nurse Educators.
  • Collate documentation relevant to training programs for nursing services at the Launceston General Hospital.

You will need:

  • Be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Details of appointment:

Permanent part time, day worker, working 30 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as able.

Working days: Monday and Tuesday.

*notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.

Salary: $66,049 - $70,993 per annum (Pro rata). Our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.

  • Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022.
