The platform is built around a Sustainable Finance Workplace, consolidating holistic, integrated ESG applications, such as climate risk stress testing, ESG advisory, and emission management and steering. A database integrating external with internal ESG-related sources serves as the foundation. The ideal candidate will have 5 years of professional experience in frontend development, with strong experience in languages such as JavaScript and TypeScript. </p><p>As a Senior Frontend Developer at our company, you will be responsible for leading the design and development of scalable, user-friendly frontend systems, which are critical to the success of our business. </p><p>Your responsibilities will include:</p><ul> <li>Build applications according to the design and provide designers with feedback, ensuring the code follows latest coding practices and industry standards</li> <li>Closely collaborate with backend developers to understand and properly use the systems APIs and challenge ideas and opinions to avoid pitfalls and inefficient solutions</li> <li>Write both unit and integration tests, and develop automation tools for daily tasks</li> <li>Contribute to the technical direction and architecture of our frontend systems by producing high-quality, self-documenting code by using test-driven development (TDD) techniques</li> <li>Work closely with cross-functional teams to define and implement innovative solutions that drive our growth </li> <li>Mentor and guide junior team members in best practices for frontend development.</li> </ul><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><p>The ideal candidate will have:</p><ul> <li>5+ years of professional experience in frontend development, ideally with expertise in financial services industry with focus on banking products</li> <li>Familiarity with agile developments and team settings</li> <li>3-5 years experience in JavaScript/TypeScript and experience in using frameworks as VUE.js, Next.js or React</li> <li>Experience with responsive design and cross-browser compatibility</li> <li>Enthusiasm to learn new technologies and strive towards cross-functional development </li> <li>Excitement about impact of emerging / disruptive technologies </li> <li>Sound problem-solving skills with the ability to quickly process complex information</li> <li>Excellent collaboration skills in English (optional German)</li> <li>Passion for ESG topics</li> <li>Bachelor´s or Master´s degree in STEM</li> </ul><p><strong>Benefits</strong></p><ul> <li>You will work with some of the smartest professionals in the industry embarking on a very ambitious project to shape the rapidly changing financial landscape</li> <li>You will experience the best of both worlds: a pragmatic, fast-paced start-up culture coupled with years of development expertise, a strong reputation in the market, and a long-established customer portfolio</li> <li>You will enjoy a
