Position SummaryThe Accounting and Human Resources Administrator is a dual-function role responsible for supporting financial operations and day-to-day HR administration. This position plays an important part in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring payroll accuracy, and supporting employee lifecycle processes. The ideal candidate is organized, analytical, and comfortable managing confidential information in a dynamic business environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesAccounting & Financial SupportMaintain accounts payable and accounts receivable recordsPrepare monthly reconciliations and assist with financial reportingSupport budgeting, forecasting, and expense monitoring activitiesProcess invoices, payments, and employee expense reports
Payroll AdministrationAssist with payroll processing and ensure regulatory complianceTrack employee time, benefits, and applicable deductionsSupport year-end reporting and required filings
Human Resources AdministrationAssist with recruiting coordination, onboarding, and employee documentationMaintain accurate HR records and ensure compliance with employment regulationsSupport performance management initiatives and employee engagement effortsCoordinate benefits administration, training logistics, and policy updates
Compliance & ReportingEnsure adherence to financial controls and HR policiesPrepare reports for leadership and external review, as neededSafeguard sensitive financial and employee information
QualificationsEducationBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related discipline preferred
Experience5+ years of experience in accounting, HR administration, or a blended role
Skills & CompetenciesStrong understanding of accounting principles and HR best practicesExperience with accounting systems and HRIS platforms; familiarity with Sage or Paycor is advantageousAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft ExcelExcellent organizational and multitasking skillsStrong written and verbal communication abilities
