Rehabilitation Aide: Full Time, M-F 7a-3p, IP Chilton Medical Ctr

Atlantic Health System is seeking a dynamic and motivated individual as a Full Time Rehabilitation Aide on the impatient Rehab Team of Chilton Medical Center. The ideal candidate will have either a background in rehabilitation or have an interest in pursing a career in Allied Health Therapies. Upon successful completion of onboarding requirements, the Team Member will be responsible for supporting the rehabilitation therapists as their assistant in the therapeutic treatment of acutely ill patients with the tasks of physical exercise, bathing, and other activities. The Team Member will ensure and assist patients to and from their room to the therapy center.


Principal Accountabilities:

1. Assists the therapist in carrying out each patient's interdisciplinary plan of care for therapy.
2. Maintains equipment and advises the therapist of any issues that arises.
3. Prepares and manages supplies and equipment's and maintains rooms for therapy sessions.
4. Ensures and manages the phone calls, schedule appointments, and respond to patient queries.
5. Maintains and organizes the inventory supplies, ordering stock, and cleaning the stock areas.
6. Ensures and maintains equipment and treatment room clean before and after therapy session.
7. Performs and assists day-to-day non-clinical patient care duties.
8. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required:
1. High School Diploma or equivalent.

Preferred:
1. Prior experience working with patients preferred.
