The role involves close collaboration with senior management to shape IT strategies that drive operational efficiency and business growth. This position provides technical leadership to IT analysts and promotes the use of emerging technologies and modern methodologies. Key responsibilities include making strategic decisions on system design, technology adoption, and process improvements. The role directly influences critical IT initiatives and contributes to long-term planning. A strong focus on compliance is required, with strict adherence to GxP regulations, SOPs, and quality standards. Accurate documentation, ongoing training, and a commitment to continuous improvement are essential. This position plays a vital role in ensuring high-quality, compliant, and future-ready IT solutions</p><p></p><p><b>In this role, a typical day will include:</b></p><ul><li>Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with business product owners and subject matter experts to gather and document business requirements, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Act as the business process expert for Salesforce.com, providing insights and clarifications to enhance the integration and utilization of Salesforce.com solutions.</li><li>Solution Design &amp; Integration: Work closely with development teams to ensure IT solutions meet business requirements. Act as a liaison to facilitate communication, ensuring that functionalities are aligned with business needs and integrated effectively with other IT systems. Provide guidance and clarification on Salesforce.com functionalities and requirements to both the development team and business stakeholders.</li><li>UX/UI Design: Lead the UX/UI design process for IT solutions, creating intuitive and effective user interfaces. Experience with Figma is preferred but not required.</li><li>Systems Specifications: Develop and configure system specifications to address business requirements and fit with the company's system architecture standards, including Salesforce.com.</li><li>Compliance Standards: Ensure that software compliance standards are met and that Salesforce.com solutions adhere to these standards.</li><li>System Interfaces: Evaluate interfaces between systems and operational requirements, including how Salesforce.com integrates with other systems.</li><li>System Parameters: Establish and document system parameters and formats, ensuring system compatibility with Salesforce.com and coordinating modifications as needed.</li><li>Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization and implement best practices to streamline operations and improve service delivery. Ensure that Salesforce.com processes are aligned with these improvements.</li><li>Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including business requirements, process flows, system specifications, and design mockups related to Salesforce.com and other IT solutions.</li><li>Liaison Role: Act as a liaison between the development team and business product owners to ensure smooth communication and resolution of issues. Provide subject matter expertise on business processes and Salesforce.com when needed.</li></ul><p><b><span>What You’ll Bring to Alcon:</span></b></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degree or relevant certification (e.g., CBAP, PMP, Scrum Master) is a plus.</li><li>Minimum of 5 years of experience as an IT Business Analyst or similar role, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.</li><li>Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in an Agile environment.</li><li>Extensive experience with Salesforce.com development and customization, including system specifications and integration.</li><li>Proficiency in UX/UI design, with Figma experience preferred.</li><li>Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.</li><li>Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.</li><li>Proficiency in business analysis tools and techniques, such as process mapping, use case development, and requirements elicitation.</li><li>Familiarity with IT systems, software development lifecycle (SDLC), and p
