Position Overview: We are seeking a passionate and experienced Clinical Nurse Manager for our Mother Baby and Labor and Delivery units. In this pivotal role, you will integrate the nursing process to ensure high-quality patient care, while providing leadership and mentorship to your team. Your expertise will shape the care we deliver, fostering a culture of excellence and compassion.

What You Will Do:

• Patient Care Management: Assess clinical and psychosocial needs of patients, utilizing evidence-based practices to develop, implement, and evaluate comprehensive care plans.
• Collaboration: Partner with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team to ensure safe transitions and continuity of care, enhancing patient outcomes.
• Quality Focus: Demonstrate urgency in facilitating patient throughput and address customer needs with a focus on quality care and adherence to best practices.
• Education: Tailor patient and family education to ensure understanding and compliance, and document assessments accurately to meet regulatory standards.
• Leadership: Provide direction and mentorship, manage staffing needs, and support team development to uphold the standards of excellence established by Riverside Health System.
• Emergency Response: Recognize and respond effectively to emergency situations while ensuring patient care needs are prioritized.

This position is eligible for a sign on bonus of up to $15,000 and relocation assistance of up to $10,000! 

Qualifications

Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (Required)
• Master’s Degree in Nursing (Preferred)​

Experience:

• 1 year of recent relevant nursing experience (Required)
• 1 year of supervisory experience (Required)

Licenses and Certifications:

• Registered Nurse (RN) licensed in Virginia or compact state (Required)
• CPR/BLS Certification (Required)
• Specialty Certification (e.g., CMSRN, CCRN) (Preferred)
