What the job involves:
We are currently seeking an Intern in Business Intelligence to join our team. As an intern at JLL, As an intern at JLL, you'll work closely with a Business Intelligence manager or Sr. Analyst, assisting in providing customer service insights, developing automated reports and dashboards, conducting data analysis, contributing to forecasting and data visualization efforts, managing system access and security audits, and supporting leadership with special projects, all while learning about performance optimization from formal and informal data in the real estate industry.
As an Intern in Business Intelligence at JLL, you will:
- Assist in delivering Customer Service/Insights to various stakeholders, supporting the alignment of diverse business needs.
- Aid in translating business needs into system and user requirements, and help articulate these into technical specifications.
- Support the design and development of automated reports, dashboards, and analyses to enable improved decision making.
- Gain hands-on experience with JLL Technologies tools, such as Tableau, for developing real-time business data insights.
- Participate in data analysis on large datasets to guide key business questions.
- Contribute to forecasting, trend analysis of performance data, and creative data visualization efforts.
- Assist in managing system access, performing recurring security audits, and troubleshooting system issues.
- Support the Leadership team with special projects, including the creation and maintenance of reports, identification of operational optimization opportunities, and preparation of Quarterly Business Reports and other communication materials.

Education, Skills, and Experience
- Required:
- Actively pursuing a bachelor’s degree, with 2-3 years completed majoring in Engineering, Finance, Information Technology, or other related fields.
- Strong organizational and detail-oriented skills.
- Excellent presentation skills (verbal and written).
- Proactive and self-directed in work habits.
- Able to work effectively in diverse teams.
- Ability to adapt to changing business requirements.
- Familiarity with SharePoint and other data and statistical applications like Smartsheet, Tableau, and Alteryx.
- Familiarity with databases and query languages, such as SQL
- Preferred:
- Capability to analyze complex data sets.
- Experience in Python scripting
- Experience with cloud-based warehousing systems, especially Databricks.
- Experience working with key stakeholders to gather and interpret functional requirements.
- Display initiative, confidence, and professionalism.
- Some experience in strategic thinking and embracing change as an opportunity.
- Some experience in understanding client needs and managing client expectations.
- Some experience or interest in continuous improvement and process re-engineering.
We do not offer relocation assistance or housing for our internship program.
