SAP PM Development Senior Analyst

Location:  Bucharest, Romania

The Opportunity

This position is a member of the Global IT SAP PM Plant Maintenance Business Support team, which is responsible for the support of SAP PM systems in every region and globally for the various functional areas. The incumbent will work in partnership with global & cross-functional business/IT teams and take a leadership role on small-scale initiatives. This position is responsible for developing and configuring solutions and supporting functional solutions on a global level in an attempt to match the capabilities of the current I/T technology with business needs.

Main Duties And Responsibilities
 

• Analyze functional requirements and provide technical solutions and documentation for SAP functional teams.
• Liaise with the author of the functional specifications to understand the application development requirements and perform application development in accordance with the Global development standards.
• Analyze and troubleshoot technical issues relating to SAP application development and perform root cause analysis. o Provide support and participate in testing and defect resolution.
• Provide Quality Assurance on programs developed by Application Developers and Contractors ensuring that Global Application Development standards are followed and the robustness of the applications developed.
• Conduct onboarding sessions for new hires and contractors
   

To Join Our Team You Will Need
 

• Minimum 5 years of experience in an IT role
• ABAP development expertise (ABAP, ABAP Webdynpro) is a must
• SAP PM module knowledge is a key asset
• SAP HANA knowledge and Odata is required
• SAP FIORI/UI5 Mobile technology is required
• IOT knowledge is a plus
• Practical knowledge and practice with SAP S/4 are an asset
• Fluency in English
• Great communication and team spirit, willing to work in a global team with many contacts across the organization.
