About this job:

The ESS & Out of District Admissions Coordinator serves as the primary resource for ESS student admissions, enrollment, and data management by ensuring efficient operations, clear and responsive communication, and exceptional customer service. This role requires strong organizational and leadership skills, collaboration with internal teams, and the ability to independently address escalated issues to ensure accurate and timely execution of all admission-related activities.


** This is a grant funded position by the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA). This position is grant funded year to year, continuation of the position is contingent on grant funding. **

What You'll Do:

  • Serve as the subject matter expert for admissions policies, procedures, and communications related to Out-of-District, Extended School Year, Homebound and ESS programming
  • Respond to and manage inquiries from students, families, district staff, and external facilities, including escalated concerns, via in-person visits, phone, and email
  • Provide accurate and timely information on admissions requirements, available programs, and related services
  • Collaborate with internal departments to support enrollment, invoicing, and overall student success
  • Maintain compliance and accurate documentation for admissions and Out-of-District, Homebound, and ESY funding requirements (e.g., October Count, December Count, Enrich Reporting, EzEdMed Reports, and End-of-Year reporting)
  • Protect the confidentiality of all student and program information
  • Identify and implement process improvements to streamline admissions operations and enhance service delivery
  • Manage and analyze data using district databases, student information systems, Google tools (e.g., Sheets, Sites), and other relevant platforms    
  • Review and maintain business records, contracts, and student documentation in accordance with district guidelines
  • Other duties as assigned
 What You’ll Need:
  • High School Diploma/GED is required; Bachelor's Degree is preferred
  • Two (2+) or more years of experience working with diverse student populations, and working in admissions is required
  • Lead for racial and educational excellence and work to dismantle systems of oppression and inequity in our community, along with believing in and supporting all students so they feel seen and heard with access to high quality education. 
  • Live and work with a permanent home address in Colorado while working with us.  
  • Have the ability with or without accommodations to meet the physical demands of the position
  • Ability to travel to various school or facility locations
