Duties and Responsibilities:
List the core tasks and responsibilities associated with the role.
- Execute on-time, error-free email and SMS campaigns across Email Studio, Mobile Studio, Journey Builder and Automation Studio
- Configure complex Data Cloud audiences and data extensions connected to our health database for Patient, Consumer, OnDemand, Ovia and future acquisition brands
- health, feature adoption—and recommend process improvements to maximize performance
- Serve as a subject matter expert, consulting with marketing, creative, analytics, IT, legal/compliance and 3rd-party agencies to align technical execution with business goals
- Oversee QA and testing across campaigns, data, integrations, and new features to ensure accuracy, compliance, and flawless end-to-end execution, as well as other quality checks as required.
- Develop strategic playbooks covering A/B testing frameworks, dynamic content with AMPScript, AI-driven personalization (Einstein and other tools), advanced reporting, and more
- Monitor campaign KPIs—engagement rates, deliverability
- Support the onboarding and integration of newly acquired consumer brands into the Marketing Cloud environment
- Upskill internal stakeholders through workshops, documentation and best-practice training sessions
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, CAN-SPAM, GDPR, and accessibility standards across all campaigns and data processes.
Evaluate and pilot emerging AI/ML capabilities within Salesforce and other platforms to enhance personalization, targeting, and efficiency.
Minimum Education and Experience Required:
State the minimum level of education and professional experience required to be qualified for the role.
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (Email Studio, Automation Studio, Journey Builder)
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, Computer Science, Information Systems or a closely related field
Preferred Qualifications:
List any preferred qualifications that could benefit the role but are not essential.
- Required: Salesforce Marketing Cloud Email Specialist
- Nice-to-Have: Salesforce Certified AI Associate, Marketing Cloud Consultant, Marketing Cloud Developer, and Data Cloud certification
- Deep understanding of email marketing strategies, automation best practices, deliverability standards and advanced reporting techniques
- Prior background in healthcare marketing or regulated-industry data integrations
- History of supporting marketing teams through acquisition integrations
- Experience managing cross-channel marketing campaigns (email, SMS, social audiences, push notifications).
Familiarity with API integrations and data workflows to support form testing, staging environments, and external system connections.
Skills and Competencies:

- Proficiency in AMPScript, SQL/SSJS and Mobile Studio for dynamic content and SMS campaigns
- Excellent communication, collaboration and project management skills

- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to QA for high-volume, regulated marketing programs.
- Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced, agency-style environment.
Knowledge of email deliverability and inbox placement tools (e.g., Everest, ReturnPath, 250ok) a plus.
Compensation, Benefits and Duration
Minimum Compensation: USD 52,000
Maximum Compensation: USD 182,000
