eko is an innovative e-commerce startup dedicated to empowering brands to create, display, and optimize their video assets across digital platforms.

Thanks to our groundbreaking partnership with major retailers, and our ability to demonstrably increase e-commerce sales, we recently opened our new facility, focused on processing, capturing, and delivering data & media for millions of unique products annually.

Our first-of-its-kind facility opened in Northwest Arkansas in summer 2025 and is rapidly scaling to support high-volume, high-quality product media capture at unprecedented speed and scale.

The Technical Stage Lead - Weekends is responsible for overseeing the operational readiness, safety, and efficiency of all capture stages and robotic stations when the Technical Stage Manager is not on shift. This person will be accountable for shift operations—directing daily activities, guiding associates in protocol execution, and partnering across Robotics, Hardware, Lighting, Software, Networking, and Production teams to ensure seamless output.

This is a leadership role in a high-urgency, high-accountability environment. When something breaks, stalls, or slips—you’re not only the one who drives resolution, but also the leader who helps build systems to prevent issues in the first place.

What you will do:

Stage Operations Leadership

  • Oversee and direct the daily operational readiness of all robotic capture stations.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between Studio Ops and technical teams to ensure timely issue resolution.
  • Monitor and maintain a live stage status dashboard reflecting real-time availability, usage, and maintenance status.

Station Planning & Allocation

  • Coordinate with the Creative Team Leads to manage station purposes (e.g., client use, dev testing, hardware work, lighting experiments).
  • Coordinate with Robotics, Software, IT, and Creative teams to align resources and prevent conflicts.

Scheduling & Communication

  • Partner with the Technical Stage Manager to design weekly look-ahead setup schedules.
  • Communicate deadlines, expectations, and handoffs clearly to all stakeholders.
  • Ensure schedules are executed effectively and adjust in real time as needed.

Daily Operations Protocols

  • Lead shift startup and shutdown procedures, ensuring all stations are powered, functioning, and safely operated.
  • Assign and oversee daily cleaning and maintenance across capture zones.
  • Act as first responder to operational issues, directing triage and escalating when necessary.

Change & Risk Management

  • With the guidance of the Technical Stage Manager, manage a dedicated Development Station for staging and testing software, firmware, or hardware changes.
  • With the guidance of the Technical Stage Manager, enforce validation processes to ensure updates are tested and verified before rollout.
  • Coordinate with technical teams to execute deployments, oversee staged rollouts, and manage rollback protocols.

Infrastructure & Process Leadership

  • As part of the technical team, establish, document, and refine the Stage Operations function across the Capture Factory.
  • Drive continuous improvement of daily operational protocols and weekly scheduling systems.

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • 3+ years of proven leadership experience in technical or studio operations, ideally in film, photography, robotics, or high-volume production environments.
  • Strong operational mindset with the ability to thrive in fast-moving, complex scenarios.
  • Relentless focus on eliminating bottlenecks, downtime, or ambiguity—stage readiness is your obsession.
  • Required to be on-site in Northwest Arkansas Friday - Sunday 7:30am - 7:30pm

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, and reach regularly.
  • Ability to work in a warehouse environment with exposure to varying temperatures, dust, and noise.

Work Environment:

  • This position operates primarily within a factory setting.
  • The noise level can range from moderate to loud.
  • Exposure to moving mechanical parts and vehicles (e.g., forklifts, trucks).
