Your New Role

This position supports the WBD US Networks Legal team by providing contract administration support and administrative support. The ideal candidate will need to be able to work in a high volume, fast-paced environment.  Additionally, this position manages confidential information and the life cycle of the contract execution process for our US Networks talent and production contracts.

Your Role Accountabilities      

  • Handle the entire internal and external process of contract execution and contract administration (e.g. routing circulating contracts to internal and external parties, uploading contracts to databases, securing appropriate sign off on documents). Interact with internal and company-wide business units, including senior and executive personnel, as well as external business contacts and other third parties. Handle inquiries from internal and external contacts and draft related correspondence 
  • Initiate and complete multiple data entries into business/contract databases for each individual contract to establish and maintain the deal data and information  
  • Generate contracts from standard forms and track contracts at various stages of drafting, revising and execution  
  • Proofread, edit, compare and redline documents and effectively navigate and operate within various computer databases relating to areas of responsibility 
  • Collaborate with department managerial and administrative staff in the development of processes and procedures to increase department productivity around contract administration 
  • Provide general office support including scheduling routine and ad hoc meetings, maintaining an executive’s calendar, ordering supplies, arrange travel itineraries and submit expense reports and perform other related administrative tasks as requested by supervisor(s) 

Qualifications & Experience

  • 5 years legal administrative experience at a law firm, a corporate in-house legal department, or in the business and legal affairs department of a media, television, cable, production or broadcast company preferred.
  • Experience with contract management and administrative document drafting
  • Excellent and strong computer skills (proficiency in Windows, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Strong comfortability with document systems and databases
  • Ability to identify, prioritize, and manage important administrative issues, multi-task and effectively prioritize work assignments in addition to handling changing priorities
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Must be professional, detail oriented, and have strong organizational and administrative management skills.
  • Must have the ability to work effectively and confidentially with a wide range of staff at all levels at multiple times while achieving organizational objectives.
  • Experience in creating and maintaining detailed digital filing systems.
  • Candidate must also demonstrate initiative, resourcefulness, and an ability to manage multiple assignments under tight deadlines.
  • Must have the legal right to work in the United States.
  • B.S. or BA preferred
  • Paralegal certificate or training preferred
