We are searching for the best talent for Senior Manager, Commercial Programs & Capital Pricing Strategy.

The Pricing and Contracting Initiatives team works in close collaboration with the field /account management teams, the offer development team, and product marketing teams to identify the most appropriate offering (inclusive of products, pricing, solutions, and T&Cs) for the customer as possible. 

This critical role will be focused on developing, refining, and shaping consistent capital and digital pricing and contracting programs, rebate and overlay strategies, third-party alliance contracting opportunities, and strategic channel access programs for the JJMT Orthopaedics business unit.

In addition to demonstrating proficiency in the Orthopaedics business and the customer landscape, ideal candidates will possess a balance of quantitative/qualitative problem-solving skills, a sharp strategic mind pulled from insights within J&J as well as the medical device industry and more broadly, excellent written and oral communications, and a focus on driving financial impact.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Partner across multiple cross-functional business partners including marketing, commercial operations, legal, health care compliance, sales, key account management, offer development, contract management, and customer service to create E2E commercial program models that can be successfully and compliantly implemented with Customers
  • Advance existing models for how Customers can acquire capital and digital product offerings (inclusive of software and data products) and value-added solutions that maximize long-term customer commitment and partnership
  • Develop improved strategies that allow for the achievement of our strategic and business plan goals related to contracted sales growth, price erosion, gross profit increase, and share gains across various strategic channels
  • Lead the communication and education efforts for newly created programs and contract strategies in partnership with marketing to the Account Management Team and Field Selling (FSO) organizations
  • Coordinate the activities needed to define and evolve the long-term contracting framework for the region, specifically identify opportunities to evolve our contracting models and ancillary value offerings for U.S. Orthopaedics.
  • Consistently monitor industry developments, competitor activities, and consumer behavior to understand evolving market dynamics and inform strategic contracting decisions

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree within Business, Finance, Economics or Marketing or related field is required.  An MBA and/or an advanced degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of 8 years combined experience in Finance, Pricing, Contracting, Marketing, Commercial Leadership, HEMA or related business experience is required.
  • Minimum of 3 years working
