Senior Software Engineer with focus on SRE

In this role you will be focussed on helping our customers seamlessly manage their security solutions as effectively and efficiently as possible, and ensuring our products are delivering a secure experience. You will have the opportunity to further broaden your skills surrounded by a team of incredibly smart and experienced Engineers, whilst getting the opportunity to mentor others. Specifically, your focus will be to:</span></p><ul><li><p><span>Own, design, and implement the Infrastructure as Code (IaC) strategy for the team, specifically managing and provisioning critical AWS resources (e.g., RDS Clusters, EKS/Compute, networking) using Terraform.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Design and implement robust automation for deployment, monitoring, and maintenance, including managing and optimizing Jenkins jobs and integrating with GitHub pipelines.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Enhance and maintain observability for our services by managing and configuring monitoring platforms like Grafana clusters and other necessary tooling.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Diagnose and resolve complex production issues, including triage and correction of networking issues such as ingress routing configurations.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Collaborate with product-focused engineers by contributing clean, well-architected code to our core services, primarily in Go or Java, to build deeper operational understanding and tooling.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Act as a resident expert on operational best practices, security, and cloud architecture, driving a culture of high quality and reliability within the team.</span></p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>The skills and qualities you’ll bring include:</b></p><ul><li><p><span>A minimum of 5 years experience in software development using one of Golang, Java, Kotlin or C# </span></p></li><li><p><span>Experience with cloud technologies like AWS or GCP</span></p></li><li><p><span>Experience with Terraform and Jenkins</span></p></li><li><p><span>Excited by technology, curious and eager to learn, with the ability to mentor more junior members of the team </span></p></li><li><p><span>Collaborative team player who has the ability to partner with others and drive toward solutions</span></p></li><li><p><span>Solid communicator with the ability to clearly convey objectives and rationale whilst fostering commitment from others both within the team and cross functionally</span></p></li><li><p><span>Brings a customer-first mindset to engineering, and integrates customer impact into everyday decision making </span></p></li><li><p><span>Demonstrable experience of delivering complex solutions to customers</span></p></li><li><p><span>Core Value Embodiment: Embody our core values to foster a culture of excellence that drives meaningful impact and collective success</span></p></li></ul><p></p><p><span>We know that the best ideas and solutions come from multi-dimensional teams.
