Join us as an Expert Global Planning HNC (health, nutrition and care). You will provide technical coordination assisting Global Planning Managers (GSMs) in meeting and maintaining inventory targets, production schedules and in the execution of manufacturing agreements as required. Ensures the coordinated flow of finished goods from plant to plant and region to region including matching of replenishment and customer orders through various SAP systems.

Your Key Responsibilities
- Coordinates closely with Global Planning Managers (GSM’s) to achieve KPIs for inventory & CDI levels and provides administrative planning support with the GSM’s guidance.
- May perform the Global Planning role for less complex portfolios.
- Facilitates adherence to the Allocation plan, supporting the Global Planning Managers allocations and coordinating with Regions to ensure allocations are deployed (or returned to global inventory, as the case may be)
- Oversee and manage the movement of finished goods from plant to plant, plant to customer and region to region.
- Review production plans and ensure that requirements are being met with respect to the plants and regions.
- Required to interface with facility functions (Production, QC, etc.), giving detailed and accurate information on the status of material requirements planning.
- Review regional and customer orders against the production schedule and keep regions informed of status of shipments.
- Coordinates finished goods flow, workflow, and expedite orders.
- Participate in appropriate meetings when required in the cross-functional Operations Department of the facilities.
- Provide reports from the facilities and update the system, (SAP), on an as required basis.
- Directly interface regularly with the facility planners on the status of finished products of the production facility.
- Track and communicate stock levels of finished goods by using SAP to analyze demand requirements derived from inventory records and reports.
- Works to SHE standards and encourages fellow colleagues to work to the same standards.
- Displays and promotes positive safety behaviors at all times; uses proper personal protective equipment, appropriate safety tools, equipment and procedures to ensure that self and others go home safe each day; that area and equipment operate at the highest safety levels; that all people in the area comply with the safety directives and keep the area neat and clean.
- Follows all SHE instructions and procedures to include awareness of and following all DSM Life Saving Rules. Acts in such a way that safety awareness and accident prevention are considered in performing all tasks.
- Ensures that all personal safety, quality and assigned training is up to date and in compliance.
- Supports and follows the policy of reporting incidents, near misses and improvement possibilities.
- Encourages co-workers and management to improve SHE results and incidents.
- Ensures Quality procedures, Management Directives and Quality improvement projects are supported and followed.
- Reports any quality deviations or non-conformances observed.
