Rehabilitative Services Manager General Rehabilitation FT Days

Walker Baptist Medical Center: Located in Jasper, this facility is equipped with 267 beds and specializes in cardiology; orthopedics, including rehabilitation; psychiatric care; urology; and detox therapy.

Job Summary
In cases where Manager is highest level at facility, responsible for the oversight and management of the Rehabilitation Department, consisting of PT, OT and/or Speech. Assesses, plans, and implements processes relating to patient evaluation and treatment, as required. Works with neonatal through geriatric patients with clinical competency.  Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period.

Education
Required:  Master's degree in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or Speech and Language Pathology or Bachelor's degree required in related field
Preferred:  Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy or Master's Degree in related field

Experience
Required:  2 years in healthcare management

Certifications
Required:  Maintain licensure, as required by State law
