Salary: $65,000

Position Overview
The Behavioral Health Clinical Supervisor will serve on the leadership team for Alternatives behavioral health services and programming. The Behavioral Health Clinical Supervisor will have experience managing teams and behavioral health services, and in quality assurance.
Responsibilities:
Perform the following from a racial, gender, sexuality, and ability equity lens:
- Provide direct weekly supervision, including monitoring and evaluation, to all therapist and interns who require clinical supervision
- the review, opening and closing of all therapist case files across departmental contracts
- Participate in a rotation schedule to oversee and complete billing tasks, collaborating with the Behavioral Health Supervisors to ensure accurate and timely submission of billing documentation.
- Take the lead in training all new staff members, supported by Behavioral Health Supervisors, to ensure comprehensive onboarding and integration into the team.
- Manage and oversee the relationship with the staff psychiatrist, including scheduling appointments, managing the waitlist consultations, ensuring timely submission of invoices and documentation related to psychiatric services, working closely with the finance department.
- Provide appropriate in-service training based on their assessed needs
- Actively promote internal cross-collaboration between the Behavioral Health Team and Restorative Justice Teams
- Stay current with behavioral health best practices
- Develop and maintain appropriate external partnerships and relationships
- Participate in organizational work groups to facilitate strategic development including but not limited to: MCO development, Southside site development, EHR implementation, etc.
- Attend and actively participate in department and agency meetings
- Demonstrate knowledge of Alternatives, Inc. policies, practices, and services
- Assist the Behavioral Health Director and the Director of Finance to monitor annual programs and budget planning
- Actively participate in all applicable staff and team meetings, professional development trainings and supervision meetings.
- Represent Alternatives at relevant forums and events as assigned.
- Participate in Alternatives’ fundraising initiatives.
- Complete in a timely fashion all other tasks as assigned.
Requirements
- Clinical License required (LCPC, LCSW)
- At least 1 - 2 years of experience in clinical supervision, program management and behavioral health practice
- Demonstrated success in clinical work to support clinical therapists in reflective, clinical, and administrative supervision
- Proficient in using technology as management reporting tool
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Deep commitment to building a diverse staff engaged in significant work with youth and their families at a community-level
- Consistently learning and working within the following frameworks: Anti-oppression, Positive Youth Development, Trauma-informed and Balanced and Restorative Justice.
- Skilled at working with young people at high risk for juvenile justice and child welfare system involvement
