Senior Managed Operational Security Consultant

<p></p><p>The objective of the<strong> Senior MOS Consultant</strong> is to keep customer business critical information technology (IT) systems secured by actively tracking vulnerabilities, implement (ad-hoc and scheduled) released security patches + pro-actively advise on security improvements. Conducting security assessments, participating in security audits and promoting partner security products are also part of the job. Additionally, the Senior MOS Consultant has the capability of autonomously handling complex security related issues. The Senior MOS Consultant works closely together with customer and partner IT Security teams, service delivery managers, account managers, vendors and the internal cyber security department of Quistor. It is key for a Senior MOS Consultant to perform the mentioned activities efficiently and with the expected skill, diligence and care.</p><p></p><p><strong>KEY AREAS OF RESPONSABILITY</strong></p><p></p><ul> <li>Assessment of information technology (IT) systems to verify they comply with applicable security standards.</li> <li>Pro-actively track vulnerabilities with a high risk score identified in software and operating systems supported for our Customers, communicate and implement mitigations ad-hoc upon release by vendors.</li> <li>Coordinate, Facilitate scheduled periodical implementation of security patches released by vendors, for Customers. • Recommend on IT security enhancements and implement 3rd party security partner products. • Prepare reports that document findings from security assessments and patching operations. </li> <li>Develop and implement security standards, best practices and automations. </li> <li>Create and document security procedures, contractual language, as required. • Coordinate with customer teams to assist in technical security audit activities and (pen)testing. </li> <li>Interface with various architects, technicians, and business leaders to understand organizational needs, capabilities, and constraints related to IT security. </li> <li>Research the latest IT security trends. </li> <li>Build and maintain partnerships with customer- and partner security teams and security software vendors • Learn and adapt to new technologies in the everchanging world of Information Security</li> </ul><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><p></p><p>The Senior MOS Consultant has at least a bachelor’s degree in IT Security or 5-10 years of professional work experience in the IT Security domain supported by information security professional certifications such as e.g. CEH, CISM, CISSP, CASP+, CISA, OSCP, CISO. In addition to this, the candidate has hands-on experience with managing and supporting Linux and Windows Operating Systems and (Oracle) Applications. </p><p><strong>Skills: </strong></p><ul> <li>Experience with Linux and Windows OS Systems Administration </li> <li>Experience with Oracle Weblogic Middleware </li> <li>Experience with Security patching and Patch Toolsets </li> <li>Experience with pen testing </li> <li>DevOps experience </li> <li>Knowledge of Ansible &amp; Python for automations </li> <li>Experience in working with and communicating with technical staff and subject matter experts </li> <li>Fluent in English and Dutch both oral and written. </li> </ul><p><strong>Benefits</strong></p><p><strong>Why join us?</strong></p><p>Quistor is a great place to work and to develop yourself.
