Maintenance Technician I

Our equal opportunity partner is looking for a Maintenance Technician I to ensure the smooth and safe operation of their manufacturing equipment, machinery, and facilities in Santa Paula, CA

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent work experience.
• Strong mechanical and electrical skills.
• 3 years of experience in electrical/mechanical maintenance in an industrial/manufacturing environment.
• Adaptability to changing environments and demands.
• Ability to work safely in a fast-paced setting.
• Capability to lift 50 pounds unassisted.

Expectations:

First 3 Months:

• Complete the immersion program.
• Understand your role in their team and its impact on their strategy.
• Grasp plant safety rules, Values, and 5s practices.
• Receive training in Lock Out Tag Out, Safety Guards, and Forklift operations.

First 6 Months:

• Get acquainted with plant equipment operation procedures and troubleshooting skills.
• Support Preventive Maintenance (PM) activities.
• Assist in troubleshooting for ID/OD operations.
• Help with PM and troubleshooting for RTOs (Thermal oxidizer).

First 12 Months:

• Obtain hazardous waste certification.
• Contribute to stormwater activities.
• Provide PM and repair support for VA equipment.
• Propose maintenance improvement projects.
