POSITION OVERVIEW 

in this role you will be working with large and diverse data sets from credit bureaus, alternative data vendors and internal data base, utilizing machine learning to build models and strategies for wide range of marketing decisions. You will also work closely with engineering team to enhance machine learning infrastructure.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop business critical ML models such as response/propensity and credit risk models for marketing programs leveraging credit bureaus and  alternate data sources
  • Enable executions of marketing programs through designing model-based strategy
  • Lead and coach a team of data scientists to deliver results.
  • Lead initiatives to drive business value from start to finish including project planning, managing stakeholders’ expectations, both internal and external, and executing.  
  • Partner with Compliance and Model Risk Management teams to execute the model governance activities such as model validations and monitoring, and ensure models are compliant.
  • Improve/automate ML infrastructure through partnerships with engineering teams 

REQUIREMENTS

  • A relentless problem solver and out of the box thinker with a proven track record of driving business results in a timely manner 
  • Comfortable in a high-growth, fast-paced and agile environment 
  • Master’s degree or PhD in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering or Economics or other quantitative discipline (Bachelor’s degree with significant relevant experience will be considered). 
  • 7+ years hands-on data science experience with big data, machine learning platforms and algorithms. Examples includes, not limited to
    • AWS, Azure, Snowflake and/or Data-Brick
    • Gradient Boosting, Clustering, Logistic Regression and Neural Network to solve real world problems.
  • 7+ years of hands-on experience with data extraction, cleaning, analysis and building reusable data pipeline.
  • 3+ years of experience in managing a team
  • Proficient in SQL/Spark SQL/Python
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills 
  • Strong stakeholder management and project management skills 

 

"The US base salary range for this full-time position is $127,500 - $204,000.

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects a national minimum and maximum range for new hire salaries for this position. Within this range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, such as job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
