PCB Drill/Fabrication Operator Swing Shift

Description

Scope:

A Fab Operator will perform all the duties related to Printed Wiring Boards into distinct parts/arrays from a production panel, including the start-up, setup, operation, preventive maintenance, and produce a quality product.

Essential Job Functions:

• Operate multiple CNC machines simultaneously to fabricate low tolerance patterns (rout, milling, bevel)
• Independently perform complex and standard machine setups
• Load Fabrication programs
• Align production panels to tooling pins on the Fabrication machine
• Visually and mechanically inspect panels
• Make required adjustments
• Operate chamfer, V-scoring machine, and beveling machines
• Maintain a safe, neat and organized workplace
• Wear all mandatory PPE

Requirements

Essential Qualifications:

• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English to the degree necessary to perform the job
• Manual dexterity / steady hand required
• Ability to read blueprints and drawings
• Ability to use a scope, caliper, and micrometer
• Attention to detail
• Good vision required
• Good math skills
• Computer skills (basic)
• Able to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment is a must
• Able to work in a team environment and willing to cross-train
• Computerized numerical control experience helpful

Physical Requirements:

• Able to stand and move around through the entire shift
• Able to lift 25 pounds without straining, and be able to stand throughout the shift
