Our primary objective in CIA is to establish and maintain a platform that seamlessly integrates our benefits and services into the lives of employees across companies &amp; organizations of different sizes all over the world. </p> <p>As a key member of the CIA Foundation squad, your role involves laying the foundational blocks that enable and enhance the capabilities of other squads within our focus area, ultimately aiming to serve our clients better. This agile team is composed of fellow developers and a product manager. Together, we collaborate on the continual improvement of the tools and applications under your care, ensuring they meet the evolving needs of both internal teams and external clients.<br/></p> <p>You will be expected to develop the tools and the platform that power these objectives while working closely with stakeholders and the other developers. We also count on your unique view on how we evolve the platform technically and business-wise. This role is an excellent opportunity to take your expertise in front-end development to the next level.</p> <h1><strong>YOUR IMPACT</strong></h1> <ul> <li>Work within an agile full-stack talented engineering team;</li> <li>Help drive the frontend architecture of our platform using state-of-the-art tech;</li> <li>Support existing systems looking to enhance functionality, increase scale, and transform in new ways to meet our product demands;</li> <li>Ensure successful deliveries, and promote the long-term technical health of our platform;</li> <li>Write maintainable code and tests;</li> <li>Take part in incident resolution and troubleshooting in the production environment, as well as in writing useful and critical post-mortems;</li> <li>Help and mentor other developers</li> <li>Ensure high-quality code using best practices such as code review and pair programming.<br/></li> <li>Live the mission: inspire and empower others by genuinely caring for your own wellbeing and your colleagues. Bring wellbeing to the forefront of work, and create a supportive environment where everyone feels comfortable taking care of themselves, taking time off, and finding work-life balance.</li> </ul> <h1><strong>WHO YOU ARE</strong></h1> <ul> <li>A Software Engineer with solid experience using modern component-oriented front-end frameworks such as React;</li> <li>An expert using state-of-the-art JS ecosystem tooling such as Typescript / GraphQL / CSS-in-JS;</li> <li>Experience in designing and developing modern web applications;</li> <li>Developed or worked with shared Design Systems;</li> <li>A CSS Veteran who is not afraid to experience new techniques;</li> <li>Being open to new experiences, willing to learn and grow;</li> <li>Willing to work within an agile environment meant to be continuously challenged and improved upon;</li> <li>Understands the various testing methodologies such as unit, integration, and end-to-end tests;</li> <li>A believer in automation (be it tests, CI/CD, or something else);</li> <li>Strong communication skills (both in English and Portuguese) to work with multidisciplinary teams located in several countries with different cultures;</li> <li>Value facts and data to make decisions.<br/></li> </ul> <p>We recognize that individuals approach job applications differently.
