We're seeking a Technical Animator to join an innovative team working on advanced technology. This role combines industrial design expertise with technical animation capabilities to create and validate next-generation hardware solutions.
Key job responsibilities
- Lead product design efforts from concept to execution, creating both physical and virtual prototypes
- MoCap data cleanup and processing including skeleton retargeting and FBX export pipelines
- VR Performance Optimization and real-time skeleton validation
- Design and animate complex mechanical systems with accurate physics and real-world constraints
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams including engineers, researchers, and product managers
- Create interactive simulations to test and validate design concepts before physical production
- Develop and maintain project schedules in a fast-paced environment
- Guide teams through user-centered design processes
- Present technical solutions to stakeholders through visual demonstrations
Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of Design/Innovation, research & development, manufacturing, process, industrial engineering, or related experience
- Experience in Design/Innovation, research & development, manufacturing, process, industrial engineering, or related work
- Experience in management of engineering design projects
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Engineering (any domain) or foreign equivalent, Operations, Business Administration, or a related field- Knowledge of concepts like system architecture, optimization, system dynamics, system analysis, statistical analysis, reliability analysis, and decision making
- Experience with complex automated material handling equipment, packaging technologies, and systems and high-speed manufacturing
- Experience with design-in-safety
- Experience with process design based on Lean Principles

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
