​​​​​​​Here is what you will need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in data management analysis, computer science, information management, business administration, or equivalent work experience.
  • A master’s degree in business, analytics, data science, or related field is a plus.
  • At least 5 years in business intelligence, analytics, or data roles with demonstrated experience in data visualization activities
  • Expert skills in best of breed data visualization platforms like Tableau or PowerBI.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in common data languages such as SQL, and experience in modern data platforms and tools like Snowflake, Databricks, or Microsoft Fabric / Azure.
  • Proven ability to work effectively across domains and stakeholders
  • Excellent presentation skills and be able to effectively communicate findings and tailor messages to different audiences
  • Strong ability to identify issues and find insights and trends in data
  • Familiar with mammography technologies and processes is a plus
  • Experience with Healthcare-related data and HIPAA requirements is a plus

 

 

A Day in the Life of a Sr. BI Developer:

 

  • Lead large scale BI development projects: The Sr. BI Developer is responsible for leading the development of larger scale analytic products that answer complex business questions while following organizational standards for design, engineering, and governance.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally: The Sr. BI Developer is responsible for engaging a wide range of internal stakeholders across technical and business domains to understand business needs and translate those needs into technical specifications for data and analytic products.
  • Manage BI platform, access, and ROI monitoring: The Sr. BI Developer will share in responsibility to effectively monitor and manage the Tableau Server and other BI-distribution platforms with regards to assigning appropriate access, scheduling and coordinating data feeds, and observing utilization patterns and asset ROI.
  • Mentoring and Championing Best Practices: The Sr. BI Developer is responsible for mentoring less experienced developers on the team and championing best practices for analytic product development across the organization.
