Job Summary: 

Maintain oversight and promote safety, ensuring all students receive the safest transportation possible. Remain in compliance with the Transportation, Traffic Laws, Driving Laws, and Health & Safety requirements including but not limited to Federal & California State Regulations, Title 22, Title 5, Head Start, California State Preschool, and Children’s Paradise Operating Guidelines. Under supervision of the Director of Transportation, transport students safely and efficiently to an assigned location in accordance with established routes, time schedules, and CPI policies and procedures; maintain vehicles in a clean and safe operating condition; and perform related duties as assigned.

Summary of essential job functions

• Available to work Split shift AM & PM
• Abide by current California State & Federal traffic laws & driving laws and regulations
• Must have and maintain a clean driving record, both professionally and personally.
• Demonstrate proficiency in driving skills

Requirements

Minimum requirements

• High School Diploma
• Current and valid Class C Driver’s License
• Clean Driving Record
• CPR & First Aid Card
