Your journey starts now—innovate and excel with ManTech!ManTech seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Junior Cloud Solutions Architect to join our team in the DC, Maryland, and Virginia (DMV) area.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Support the enterprise architecture, design, development, and deployment of network and cloud services in support of government customer
- Research and implement enterprise-wide network and cloud solutions, capabilities, and enhancements to support customer business/mission goals and objectives, while complying with the network architecture and design standards
- Produce SDLC project artifacts such as requirements, design documents, diagrams, and other required documentation; employ DevSecOps working with other functional areas, stakeholders, and vendors to design, develop, and implement sustainable solutions
- Coordinate system maintenance, monitoring, and installation of multiple WAN/LAN environments encompassing multiple specializations, platforms, and technologies
- Develop and maintain a roadmap for capabilities, operations, and technologies
- Evaluate and recommend changes and/or technology upgrades to address performance, standardization, and industry best practices
- Perform site installations, technology refresh, develop implementation plans and schedules; follow all customer network security processes and procedures, ensuring compliance with government policies
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems or a related field
- 1+ year of relevant experience
- Previous Network Operations Center (NOC) or IT Operations experience
- Hands-on experience with Cisco routing, switching, and firewall technology
- Experience with primary network topologies, LANs, WANs and other common network standards; strong understanding of network protocols and technologies, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and QoS, MPLS; Very strong knowledge of routing protocols (e.g., BGP, EIGRP, OSPF) and network protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, GRE, IPSEC, and VRF)
- Technical certifications such as Cloud, CCNA, CCNP, Virtualization, monitoring and troubleshooting tools
- IAM III/IAT III Certification
Preferred Qualifications:
