About the role

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a HR Business Support Consultant as part of the HR Business Partner team supporting Wells Fargo’s Corporate Risk function. This role will closely collaborate alongside Human Resources Business Partners and Business Execution peers to drive initiatives contributing to successful business outcomes. This role will support the execution of optimization efforts, executing upon Human Resources (HR) strategic priorities, line of business initiatives, employee onboarding, data analysis and reporting, and cyclical HR events (goal setting, performance management, talent planning, etc.).


In this role, you will:

  • Participate in the development and execution of HR initiatives to propel business results and performance

  • Research moderately complex initiatives that require analytical skills, basic knowledge of organizational strategy and business execution, and understanding of cross horizontal interdependencies

  • Work independently, collaborate, and consult with team leaders in developing project plans and their execution

  • Assist in the planning and execution of a variety of programs and initiatives that may include risk mitigation, efficiency, and client experience

  • Manage relationships well through partnering with cross-functional peers and leaders on implementation of programs, services, and initiatives

  • Drive accountability for assigned initiatives, limit risk exposure, and create efficiencies as appropriate

  • Prioritize your work, have strong time management skills, and lead with a sense of urgency

Required Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

  • 1+ years of advanced Microsoft Excel experience (advanced filtering, pivot tables, formulas including VLOOKUP and formatting)

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience in Human Resources including knowledge of HR tools, processes, workflows and people data

  • Experience compiling and preparing presentations for management/senior leaders/executive leadership (advanced PowerPoint skills)

  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams ensuring timely delivery and measurable outcomes

  • Learning agility, takes initiative, executive presence, and partnership

  • Ability to manage multiple and competing priorities

  • Experience communicating in both written and verbal formats with leaders; proactive communicator

  • Experience building partnerships, with the ability to successfully influence and work effectively with leadership

  • Outstanding problem solving and analytical skills with ability to turn findings into strategic imperatives

  • This position will require onsite presence at one of the locations listed below in a hybrid work schedule
