Novelis in Atlanta, GA has an opportunity to participate in our 12-week summer 2025 internship as a Global Talent Intern. Our Global Talent Team is at the forefront of driving excellence in Learning, Talent Management, Organizational Effectiveness, and Talent Acquisition. We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Summer Intern to join our team and contribute to impactful projects while gaining valuable experience in the field of Human Resources. As a Global Talent Intern, you will have the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects that support our initiatives to better hire, assess, develop, and retain our employees. You will collaborate with experienced professionals in all regions and gain hands-on experience in these portfolios. This role is ideal for a current student or recent graduate looking to develop a career in HR and organizational development
Responsibilities:
Internship work and experiences may include any of the below mentioned tasks. Other HR duties may be assigned as well based on business need or learning opportunities
- Develops communication for various projects and stakeholders
- Talent Management: Contribute to talent assessment processes and help manage performance review cycles. Analyze data related to employee performance and development.
- Organizational Effectiveness: Support initiatives aimed at improving organizational efficiency and employee engagement. Assist in conducting research and analysis to drive strategic decisions.
- Learning: leverage e-learnings via our learning portal, EdFlix, and our Learning Management System (LMS), Cornerstone. Assist in the development and execution of training programs and workshops. Support the evaluation of training effectiveness and gather feedback from participants.
- Talent Acquisition: Contribute to the development and execution of employer branding initiatives, including social media campaigns and recruitment events. Support other projects related to talent acquisition, such as process improvements, candidate experience, and onboarding new hires.
- General Support: research and benchmark best-in-class practices, proposing changes to Novelis’ existing framework as needed
Minimum Qualifications:
- Enrolled in an accredited 4-year University.
- Must be a Sophomore, Junior, or Senior
- Should be a recent graduate or pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Organizational Psychology, Human Resources, or similar field of study.
- The preferred candidate would also have some work experience in a professional capacity, with long-term ambitions to work in an HR and/or Talent field.
- Knowledge and experience working with Excel (pivot tables, charts, etc.), PowerPoint and MS Word
- Teamwork orientation and ability to seamlessly collaborate with core Talent team and internal stakeholders.
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Should be available at least 20 hours per week during internship period and be in the office at least 2 days a week.
- Must be currently authorized to work in the United States for any employer
