The NA Consumables Private Brands team is looking for a customer-obsessed Product Manager to help drive the end to end creation of everyday essentials within Amazon's portfolio of private brands.

Key job responsibilities
In this role, you will lead the product development efforts for consumable everyday essential products, which include Household, Personal Care, Beauty, Healthcare, Pets, Baby, and Grocery; and be responsible for the following:
· Creating a data-driven long-term roadmap for our brands.
· Identifying new product development opportunities.
· Developing business cases to ensure we're bringing the right products to market for our business.
· Developing and bringing to market new products.
· Coordinating product development across international and cross-functional teams, and internal and external parties.
· Managing an existing assortment of products.
· Designing and implementing new processes to help scale our business.

The ideal candidate should be passionate about products, have strong product development and process design skills as well as outstanding project management abilities, and should excel in both strategic thinking and tactical execution, as responsibilities range from creating business cases to driving product development. The candidate should also feel comfortable dealing with ambiguity and working in a very entrepreneurial environment. The Product Manager will interact with and influence multiple teams across the organization (US and global), such as Compliance, Food Safety, Legal, Design, Quality, Marketing & Discovery, Operations, etc.

· Experience in the CPG (consumer packaged goods) space is not a must, but is a plus.


Some of the key job functions of the Product Manager are:
· Leads, directs, supervises, and controls the execution of all functions of their assortment.
· Possesses a broad operations background and has the ability to “roll up their sleeves” and jump in and drive resolution, along with managing a working group.
· Comfortable in different roles, sometimes supporting, sometimes leading.
· Is capable of taking accountability and driving planning, resolution and execution with the team.
· Responsible for the overall project schedule that enables the teams to be successful based upon the project milestones and planned launch dates.
· Monitors and reports on the progress of all activity within the product area including significant milestones and any conditions which would affect project cost or schedule.

Basic Qualifications


- 3+ years of product management experience
- Experience managing technical products or online services
- Experience in product, program, or project management in leading cross-functional teams in delivery of major new products or services

Preferred Qualifications

- Knowledge of SQL and VBA at an advanced level
- Experience building and analyzing cost/benefit scenarios and business cases and communicating results throughout the organization
