Commodities data analyst Intern

Commodities department :

We are looking for our new Commodities data analyst intern in the Euronext Commodities team. This position is based in Paris.

The Euronext Commodities teams is responsible for developing hedging and investment derivatives in the agricultural sector and beyond. We are a small, multicultural team based across the group locations in Amsterdam, Paris.

Assisting the commodities teams as a data analyst, you will be entitled to work on several areas.

Your role :

• Monitoring of the franchise performance (Volume, Open interest, Member, Functionnalities…)

• Maintenance of a few relevant datasets with potential optimization of processes that include data collection and updates using Python and VBA.

• Automatization of internal process and presentation

Profile :

• You are into a Master 1/Bac+4/equivalent student in Business or Agricultural Engineering track.

• You have an advanced Microsoft Office skill, Excel (pivot table, lookup functions mastery) and Powerpoint (animation, presentation design)

• Excellent proficiency in Python and VBA.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• You have a solid organizational skill including attention to detail and multitasking skills.

What we expect from you :

• Candidate must be Master 1/Bac+4/equivalent student in Business or Agricultural Engineering track.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• French & English professional proficiency (C1 or native).
