Part-Time Morning & Evening Security Officer – Islandia, NY
$19.60/hour | Flexible Weekend & Weekday Coverage

We are hiring a Part-Time Security Officer for a retail environment in Islandia, NY. Candidates must be professional, observant, and able to provide excellent customer service while maintaining security.

Schedule: Various morning and evening shifts available (8:00 AM – 4:00 PM / 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM/12:00AM - 8:00AM/ 1:00PM - 9:00PM)
Pay Rate: $19.60/hour
Post Type: Retail – Customer-facing patrol and loss prevention

 

Key Responsibilities:

Greet and assist customers while maintaining a visible security presence

Deter theft and respond to security incidents

Monitor store entrances and exits

Document daily activities and incidents

 

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent required

NYS Security Guard License preferred (not required)

Strong interpersonal and observation skills

Ability to work flexible part-time shifts

Reliable transportation to Islandia, NY
