Director of Corporate and Community Partnerships
Pay Range: $127,310 - $141,885/year DOE

Your Impact
The Director of Corporate and Community Partnerships plays a pivotal role in soliciting and securing over $3M of philanthropic investments in affordable homeownership production and preservation annually. Engaging corporations and foundations, family and community philanthropies, community-based organizations, faith-based organizations, and service groups. The position manages the Corporate and Community Partnerships Manager.
Partnerships are central to everything we do, and it is at the crux of this position. External partnerships will allow us to create strategies that cultivate and steward strong relationships with a diverse range of constituents from corporations and foundations to volunteers and community-based organizations.
Internal partnerships are equally as important in this role and as a leader you will drive accountability, facilitate collaboration across teams, gather input and identify ways to improve so we strengthen the work departments do together.
We are committed to doubling the number of families we serve in our region by 2028. We have launched a bold $100M comprehensive campaign and are 80% of the way to our goal. Donations from corporations and foundations contributes significantly towards this goal.
Reporting to the Chief Development Officer, the Director must have a growth mindset and be able take an all-ready strong program and scale it to achieve our bold plans. This position will design and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy for corporate and foundation donors that includes innovative ideas, new programs and tactics, rapid iteration, and measurable results.
Primary Responsibilities
Fundraising and Portfolio Management (55%)
- Play a leadership role in ensuring Habitat GSF’s success raising $3M+ in support from Corporate and Foundation supporters through sponsorships, grants, donations, and matching gifts, and lead plans for annual growth. Corporate and Foundation partners invest through volunteer days at new developments, Playhouse builds for corporate community services and teambuilding, our annual Framing the Future gala, general operating support, and project-specific donations.
- Build a strong pipeline of Corporate and Foundation prospects using best practices to identify and engage them in our work and impact. Leverage connections from our senior leadership team and Board to expand our funder network.
- Manage a portfolio of Foundation and Corporate donors, building and sustaining strong partnerships. Align our mission and impact in ways that engage and inspire our Corporate and Foundation donors.
- Collaborate closely with the CDO, the VP of Philanthropy and CEO to maximize donations from new foundations and steward existing Foundation and Corporate partners and convert Prospects to new donors. This includes iterating together on donor cultivation and stewardship plans and strategies. Develop highly personalized donor communications including proposals for grants, sponsorships, gifts-in-kind, and other types of financial support. Create stewardship strategies, including and reports and updates for funders.
- In partnership with Vice President of Real Estate Development and Public Funding Manager, the Director will support increased fundraising across public and private funding sources.
