The Inclusive Services Assistant works with the Outreach Associate or Programming Specialist at one of the Library's Inclusive Services branches.

Responsibilities

  • Helping to prepare and clean up programs
  • Helping to prepare, conduct and clean up the garden program at Central (seasonal)
  • Assists with special events
  • Maintains the learning materials/toy collection, shelving and washing on a rotating basis
  • Answers the phone in the office
  • Assists with shelving and labeling books
  • Other assignments as work flow and interest indicate

Qualifications

  • Requires HS diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Good customer service and communication skills
  • Experience with people with disabilities.  Experience with gardening, literature and arts programming for children a plus.

This a part time position with an up to 19 hour work week. The salary range is $16.50 - $18.00 per hour.
