This position supports the research and teaching responsibilities associated with the laboratory of Dr. Kelly Jordan-Sciutto. Responsibilities include:
- Culturing, treating and maintaining induced pluripotent stem cells.
- Assess expression of genes and proteins in iPSC derived microglia, astrocytes and neurons by western blot, RT-PCR, qPCR, etc.
- Analyze data, draw preliminary interpretations and apply statistical methods.
- Contribute to Design of experiments to assess impact of HIV infection and cannabinoids on viral replication, inflammatory response and gene expression.
- Perform bioinformatic analysis of RNA seq experiments.
- Maintain a notebook associated with research activities.
- Provide and maintain expertise in innovative solutions focused on the responsible stewardship of Penn Dental Medicine and its community experience.

$7.25 - $33.65 Hourly RateSalary offers are made based on the candidate’s qualifications, experience, skills, and education as they directly relate to the requirements of the position, and in alignment with salary ranges based on external market data for the job’s level.
