About the role

Work Flexibility: Onsite

As a Senior Project Associate you will oversee the operations of our state-of-the-art research and development lab facility, ensuring teams have the tools, resources, and support they need to succeed.

You will act as the central coordinator, managing the allocation of lab space, equipment, and materials while maintaining a safe and efficient working environment.

You will need to live within commuting distance of our Menlo Park, CA location.

What you will do

  • Oversee the daily operations of the R&D lab facility, ensuring smooth and efficient operation.
  • Manage lab resources, including equipment maintenance, procurement and inventory management, and implement and uphold lab policies and procedures.
  • Ensure lab compliance with EHS regulations through audits, policy enforcement, training, and oversight of hazardous materials, waste disposal, and emergency preparedness.
  • Coordinate with project teams, stakeholders, and business units to ensure resource availability, prioritize lab usage, resolve scheduling conflicts and align on shared objectives for the development, testing, validation and innovation of medical devices and technologies.
  • Support demos and formative labs by preparing lab spaces, equipment, and materials, collaborating with product and marketing teams, and addressing technical or logistical challenges for high-quality presentations of DRE AI projects.
  • Oversee shipping, receiving, procurement and logistics to ensure timely delivery of materials, maintain accurate shipping documentation, and coordinate with vendors and internal teams to optimize logistics processes.
  • Drive initiatives to optimize workflows, improve resource utilization, and enhance overall efficiency in lab and office operations.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, safety, and collaboration within the lab and office environment.
     

What you need

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or 6 years of applicable experience in program or facility management in lieu of degree
  • Minimum 2 years experience in facilities or project management
  • Experience managing office facilities
  • Knowledge of lab operations, EHS protocols and equipment management
  • Experience supporting product demos and test lab events
