• Compensation: $36.53 - $53.20 per hour (based on experience)

• Position Type: Permanent, Full-Time (Days, Rotating Weekends)

Key Responsibilities:

• Patient Evaluation & Treatment:

  • Perform evaluations and provide treatment interventions according to established professional guidelines.
  • Assess therapeutic, rehabilitative, and functional status, and contribute to the development of the overall care plan.

• Therapeutic Care & Education:

  • Deliver skilled therapeutic care in both inpatient and home settings, ensuring positive patient outcomes.
  • Instruct patients, families, and caregivers on the use of therapies, exercises, and therapeutic devices.

• Coordination & Planning:

  • Prioritize caseload and coordinate staffing assignments to ensure effective patient care.
  • Collaborate with physicians and the patient care team to track progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.

Qualifications:

• Licensing:

  • Licensed Physical Therapist in the state of Florida.

• Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy.

• Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an acute care setting.

• Certifications:

  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification (must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date).
