*Pay Range: $22.00 - $25.00 USD hourly

POSITION SUMMARY:
As a Production Coordinator, you will be responsible for providing support to production, scheduling, and operations as needed.

MAIN DUTIES:
The Production Coordinator will be responsible for duties in the following areas:
  • Commercial Production Support: Maintaining an open communication with the Color Prep team to prioritize tasks throughout the day and relay client challenges to scheduling team + appropriate producer.
    • Keep update to date with the production team on project statuses, alert CDI for render approval as needed. 
    • Update financial tracker with project details, organize bids on One Drive
    • Assist with archiving final spots. Working with marketing to collect spots for colorists / answering their needs for credits + final ProRes files.
    • Ordering meals in conjunction with Client Services
  • Preparations for Projects/Sessions: Trouble-shoot day of requests & WO creation and execute pickup shot work orders. Enter Booking Sheets needed prior to sessions. Confirm all material needed for project has arrived and has been forwarded to the appropriate individual(s) 
  • Execution of Job: Make sure projects are ready for sessions to begin on time. Work with Producer and color assistants to troubleshoot any session related problems. 
  • Vault Assistance: Coordinate having drives checked in / out from vault as needed (providing work order info, shipping info, etc.). Work with the vault to ensure delivery specs have been met. Notify the Producer if any delivery deadlines.
  • Final Billing: Ensuring all work orders are filled out and submitted, following up where needed. Actualize work orders for Producers sign off. 
  • Virtuals/Engineering: Coordinate all Clearview/Streambox sessions + troubleshoot issues with ops as needed. Engage Engineering staff to resolve urgent technical problems.  
  • Scheduling Support when needed: Assist with any scheduling overflow by sending artists’ avails when inquired. Create work orders and enter holds in MediaPulse. Send daily schedules to colorists EOD. 
  • Additional On-Site Duties: Shadow day ops throughout morning and assume overflow responsibilities when needed; i.e. room set up, communicating with producers/artists when necessary, setting up virtuals via Streambox/TVips. Escort clients to bays when needed.

WHAT YOU BRING:
The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding and background in Post-Production workflow, and will have excellent working knowledge with MS Excel, and at least one working experience with a production shot/asset tracking system. Additional desired skills include:
  • Demonstrated superior written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills are needed.  Proven planning and problem-solving abilities are required.
  • The ability to effectively handle multiple projects and reporting to multiple project managers.
  • Very strong ability identifying clear priorities and meeting department goals.
  • The ability to work overtime when necessary.
  • Strong client interaction skills with excellent customer service experience with internal and external clients.
