In this role, you'll support Mission Systems Engineering, Value Stream teams in the design and development of complex systems. You will support the sustainment of Engineering Development Space (Labs) and ensure their compliance to Environmental, Health, & Safety, RTX Quality Management System, and Physical & Cyber Security.

What YOU Will Do:
Under supervision, provides mechanical support for research, design, development or manufacturing activities for various customers.
Applies mechanical theory to lay out, build, test, troubleshoot, repair and modify engineering prototypes and RC products.
Sets up and operates standard equipment, and under supervision works with programming languages used on automated equipment.
Documents mechanical design and modifications and has responsibility for documentation maintenance.
Assists engineers with the development of new engineering processes and/or products to ensure their manufacturability, under supervision may recommend design changes.
Perform as member of design team including leadership role utilizing effective communication skills.
Solid understanding of written/verbal instruction methods used by customers.
May provide support/instruction to less experienced mechanical technicians.

Qualifications You Must Have:
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Typically requires HS Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience
Proven experience in Manual Mill/Lathe -CNC Mill/Lathe experience/Haas, Fanuc
Experience with CAD /Solid Works
Experience in CAM experience/Smart CAM-Sheet metal experience
Experience with press brake/Hardware press experience
Experience in Rivet installation
Experience with TIG welding
General metal fabrication skills
Qualifications We Prefer:
