Microsoft’s Cloud Operations & Innovation (CO+I) is the engine that powers our cloud services. As a CO+I EPC Integrated Plannerfor AI Lease, you will perform a key role in delivering the core infrastructure and foundational technologies for Microsoft's online services including Bing, Office 365, Xbox, OneDrive, and the Microsoft Azure platform. Responsibilities

As an individual contributor you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, scheduling, execution, and delivery of large-scale datacenter construction projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in datacenter design, procurement, and construction, with a proven track record of delivering projects on time and to the satisfaction of clients. The role requires exceptional communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve organizational goals. 

 

Planning 

  • Develop and oversee continuous improvement of detailed project plans, including timelines, and resource requirements, for large-scale datacenter construction projects. 

  • Monitor project risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate potential issues.  

  • Work with clients to understand their needs and ensure project outcomes meet their expectations. 

  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders. 

 

Project Management 

  • Proactively manage multiple project schedules simultaneously, ensuring that each project meets its objectives and is delivered on time. 

  • Continuously improve planning processes and tools to increase efficiency and effectiveness. 

  • Provide regular project updates to senior management and other stakeholders. 



Qualifications

Required/minimum qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 4+ years experience in Construction Management,  engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development
  • OR equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
