Warehouse Associate

Perform an array of functions that may include receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, or managing, organizing and retrieving stock in the warehouse.

Duties and responsibilities

• This position will be required to work in many different functions while meeting the UPH expectation (Receiving/Stock/Picking/Sorter/Packing/Shipping).

• Prepares orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in delivery area.

• Enforces inventory controls by collecting stock location orders and printing requests.

• Provides quality service by following organization standards.

• Maintains a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat.

• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Requirements

• Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
• Required basic computer & scanner skills
• Standing for long periods of time.
• Hands-on experience with warehouse environments is a plus
• Third Party Logistics experience a plus
• Regularly lift and/or move objects 10-50lbs occasionally, with the team support, lift and/or move objects greater than 50 lbs.
