You will be leading the development of application specific integrated circuits (ASICs) that are part of an implantable neurostimulation system.<br/><br/>You will be at the forefront of bringing advanced healthcare solutions to market, making a tangible difference in people´s lives worldwide.
<h3>Your profile</h3>
<br/><strong>Main Responsibilities:</strong><br/><br/><ul><li><span><span>Lead the development of application specific </span><span>integrated circuits (ASICs) that are part of an implantable neurostimulation system.</span></span></li><li><span><span>Architect technical </span><span>concepts and assess its technical feasibility </span></span></li><li><span><span>Generate intellectual property.</span></span></li><li><span><span>Tran</span><span>slat</span><span>e</span><span> system requirements into </span><span>ASIC and </span><span>interface</span><span> </span><span>requirements.</span></span></li><li><span><span>Manage external IC design houses in the outsourced </span><span>design, simulation, manufacturing</span><span>, </span><span>test</span><span> and validation of </span><span>the ASICs</span><span>.</span></span></li><li><span><span>Support the integration and process development related to ASIC</span><span> integration into the neurostimulation system</span><span>. </span></span></li><li><span><span>Apply risk management and perform design failure mode and effect analysis (DFMEA) on designs.</span></span></li><li><span><span>Initiate and </span><span>lead design</span><span> reviews and technical reviews.</span></span></li><li><span><span>Define test strategies to verify the electronic systems against </span></span><span><span>the product and manufacturing requirements.</span></span></li><li><span><span>A</span><span>pply DFR/DFM/DFT (Design for Reliability, Design for Manufacturing and Design for Test), including modelling, analysis, and statistical analysis.</span></span></li><li><span><span>P</span><span>articipate in system integration, verification, and validation.</span></span></li></ul><br/><strong>Qualifications and Soft skills:</strong><br/><br/><ul><li><span><span>BSc or MSc in </span><span>Integrated Circuit Design </span><span>E</span><span>lectronics </span><span>Engineering</span><span>.</span></span></li><li><span><span>A</span><span>t least <strong>8 years </strong><strong>of work experience</strong> in a relevant <strong>medical device development</strong> environment, with experience executing a full development cycle. </span></span></li><li><span><span>Experienced in <strong>analog </strong></span><span><strong>or mixed signal IC</strong></span><span><strong> </strong></span><span><strong>design</strong></span><span><strong> for </strong></span><span><strong>(implantable) medical devices</strong>.</span></span></li><li><span><span>Experienced in the <strong>full development cycle</strong> <strong>of an </strong><strong>ASIC</strong> including design, simulation, manufacturing, verification, and validation.</span></span></li><li><span><span>A system-thinking attitude, </span><span>identify</span><span> areas of potential improvement and develop plans to address these; Team oriented, a sparring partner to colleagues in other disciplines.</span></span></li><li><span><span>Solid understanding of </span><span>(</span><span>Medical</span><span>)</span><span> Risk Analysis and FMEA.</span></span></li><li><span><span>Experienced in managing </span><span>projects outsourced to</span><span> IC design </span><span>subcontractors</span><span> for development, manufacturing, and integration of ASICs</span><span>.</span></span></li><li><span><span>Experienced in Verification test design and execution.</span></span></li><li><span><span>Fluency in English </span><span>required</span><span> (English is company language).
