• Model, demonstrate, and test prototypes to validate design functionality and performance.
• Evaluate electronic components for suitability, availability, and cost-effectiveness, and recommend alternatives as needed to ensure manufacturability.
• Establish and document testing and maintenance procedures for electronic systems and components.
• Design and build test equipment to verify the functionality and compliance of electronic products and components.
What You’ll Bring
• Degree in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of industry experience in electronic design.
• Proficiency with ALTIUM Designer and SolidWorks is highly desirable.
• Hands-on experience with electronic test equipment, including digital storage oscilloscopes (DSO) and digital multimeters (DMM).
• Strong understanding of communication protocols such as CAN, SPI, I2C, and related interfaces.
• Proficiency in motor drive systems is a core requirement.
• Experience designing electrical hardware and software, with a strong focus on operator safety and product reliability.
• Thorough knowledge of production equipment design considerations, including usability, serviceability, environmental protection, and durability.
• Proven ability to manage competing priorities and effectively meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
