Wasserman is looking for a confident and proven Senior Art Director to join the Creative team. This individual thrives in a fast-paced creative environment - one who embraces challenges with enthusiasm and proactivity, possesses an entrepreneurial spirit, is resourceful (some might say scrappy), tenacious, innovative, forward-thinking, committed to growth, and truly believes that no job is too big nor too small.
Duties:
- Collaborate with copywriter, creative director and staff to develop engaging and compelling creative ideas, concepts and designs across an array of industries and target audiences
- Work as part of an integrated team of creative, client services, and account leads to understand client goals, craft meaningful insights and develop effective integrated marketing strategies across social, digital, print, video and experiential channels
- Create the visual palette of the creative product from type style, imagery, photography and color and layout
- Sell creative concepts and thinking to internal team and clients
- Act as a brand steward by developing and comprehending client style guides while maintaining consistent graphic identities that align with other content, print and innovative advertising media
- Mentor junior creative staff on projects, helping them improve their concepting, presenting, and strategic marketing skills
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, multimedia and/or related discipline
- 7+ years design and art direction experience, preferably in an agency setting
- Experience leading and guiding team members/junior staff
- Integrated campaigns demonstrated in portfolio with an emphasis on experiential design/activations
- Ability to develop and execute conceptual visuals in a highly collaborative environment
- Highly skilled in Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
- Basic storyboarding skills a big plus
Benefits
Base salary range: $88,000-$100,000 plus bonus potential if applicable for role.
Actual base salary is dependent on several factors including but not limited to; market dynamics, location and region, experience, specialized skills/training (education), level of responsibility, budgetary considerations, tenure at the company (for current employees), etc. The salary range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees. Compensation decisions are dependent on circumstances of each role
