The Research Assistant will provide assistance with digitizing, coding, use of OCR (Optical Character Recognition) software, error checking and correction of digitized data, and updating the R-ArcticNET database and website.
Duties/Responsibilities
(25%) Coding and convertation of river discharge data in appropriate formats for R-ArcticNET
(50%) Apply OCR software, AI and coding to convert data to digital R-ArcticNET format
(25%) Upgrade of R-ArcticNET website
Requirements
Minimum Acceptable Education & Experience:
Associate degree
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Experience in programming, managing large data sets and developing websites
Other Requirements:
Knowledge of OCR software
Compensation Pay Range:
$25-35 hourly
