Job Description:
This role is a highly analytical and detail-oriented position within our Claims Operations team, with a specialized focus on Bordereaux Management. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the collection, validation, and analysis of bordereaux data, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, proficiency in data analysis tools, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and enhance claims management efficiency.

*Preferred candidates will be able to commute to an AXIS office, we are a hybrid work environment 3 days a week.

Responsibilities:
• Management of bordereau related processes; intake, review, validation, tracking, reporting and analysis.
• Responsible for ensuring all anticipated data is recorded accurately in corporate systems and reconciled.
• Responsible for the review of key data control reports and proper communications of failures.
• Responsible for BIT system testing for upgrades and improvements, on UAT, QA, Pre-Prod and Production environments.
• Partners with respective BTIS personnel to achieve results on all assigned BTIS/Operations initiatives.
• Plays a key role in the migration from current data base and reporting systems to new platforms.
• Evaluation and resolution of issues arising from bordereau data received.
• Responsible for coordination with MGU/TPA partners to resolve all system identified errors, and ensure corrected records are received and processed.
• Responsible for ancillary functions related to bordereau’s when processed, including preparation of payment requests and cash calls from Claims processing, broker & service fee payment and analysis of third-party fees.
• Facilitate monthly communications with offshore teams on reconciliations, approvals and reporting.
• Key resource in responding to all related offshore team questions, issues or initiatives.
• Collaborate with TPAs/MGAs to address any questions or issues on data received.
• Partner with Claims team on future developments.
• Produce and review monthly and quarterly reports for management as well as any ad hoc reporting required.
• Plays a key role improving current reports and in the development of new managerial reports.
• Liaises with MGU/TPA partners as needed.
• Work with counterparts in other departments to address any questions or issues.
• Actively participate in the on-going process of the creation, maintenance and updating of Operations Standard Operating Procedures.
• Responsible for the timely delivery of requested detail on any internal audit.
• Review IRIS instruction sheets to input claims summary.
• Review detail claim summary (for some MGA’s) coded to IRIS.
• Review reconciliation of loss fund balances provided to TPA’s.
• Responsible for the daily/weekly/monthly controls over claims entry and reconciliation.
• Perform analytics on MGA claims bordereau receipt, entry and reconciliation.
• Facilitate knowledge transfer of methodologies to other team members.
• Interface and prepare documentation for state insurance examiners during market conduct examinations.
