About the role

Responsibilities

Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management. Performs a variety of project management support tasks involving data review, reporting, project coordination, forecast review, and other related duties in support of the Program Management Office for a large prime contract. Partners with internal stakeholders to help drive quality and predictability of data for resource and financial forecasting. Will be required to travel to local sites for meetings. Reviews status of resources, projects and budgets, manages schedules, prepares status reports, and ensures compliance. Prepares and delivers reports and presentations related to resources and deliverables with accuracy and on schedule. May assist in writing narratives for assessments. Briefs management on the status of action items, risks and issues, metrics, and trends. Assesses impacts of project issues and develops and ensures execution of mitigation steps to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, customers, and other stakeholders. Thought leader for innovative approach creation and implementation of tools and procedures to fulfill project objectives and criteria.  

Qualifications

Our Technical Project Management Advisor shall possess the following:

 

  • Active TS/SCI with Poly required 
  • Bachelor's Degree is required 
  • 8+ years of experience in project management analytics in large-scale complex program environment 
  • 8+ years of experience successfully coordinating projects in quality and deadline driven environments  
  • Background in resource planning and forecasting for large prime contract  
  • Experience developing tools for data collection and analysis, preparing reports and presentations while protecting confidential and proprietary data 
  • Must be detail and quality oriented with strong written and verbal communication skills  
  • Experience developing and editing standards of procedures for execution and quality checking for compliance of govt contract deliverable documents 
  • Experience engaging with all levels of management to include briefing customers and executive leadership on metrics, insights into trends, and risks and issues 
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office tools with advanced capabilities using tools to include Excel and Sharepoint; experience with collaboration tools like Atlassian Confluence. 
  • Must be willing to work in the office and drive to customer sites for meetings as needed.  

Target Salary Range

$112,000 - $179,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
