What You’ll Do

• Oversee the daily operations of the YMCA Food Pantry to ensure efficient, safe, and welcoming service delivery.
• Coordinate and manage food distribution schedules, inventory, and restocking procedures.
• Ensure compliance with food safety guidelines, health regulations, and YMCA policies.
• Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise volunteers to assist with food pantry operations.
• Develop community partnerships to secure food donations, sponsorships, and in-kind support.
• Maintain accurate records of food inventory, participant data, and program reporting requirements.
• Communicate effectively and courteously with pantry participants, staff, and community partners.
• Promote YMCA programs and services to pantry participants and the broader community.
• Create and manage staff and volunteer schedules to ensure full operational coverage.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and risk-free environment for food distribution and storage.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

What You'll Need

• Minimum of 4 years of advanced experience in specialty field and/or pursuing advanced education in a related field 
• Must be 21 years or older
• Ability to effectively use technology for programmatic needs
• Experience teaching a minimum of 4 years in a specialized area
• Demonstrates advanced knowledge of a specialized area
• Obtain and maintain all new hires certifications and trainings within 90 days of hire
• Experience in working with Microsoft Software
